TGI Maldives has the winning recipe for ocean enthusiasts

Meet Giuseppe D’Amato, the founder and driving force behind one of the Maldives’ longest running dive centers. Influenced from a young age by Jacques Cousteau, Giuseppe was, and still is, an avid underwater enthusiast; he started working in the Maldives in 1983, a year later he was running the dive centre in Halaveli in North Ari Atoll and eventually formed TGI Maldives.

Fast forward to the present day, TGI Maldives is not only a world-class diving operation but it also offers watersports activities, enabling guests to make the most of what the Maldives does best – the ocean! Incredible coral reefs teeming with life ensure this island nation’s place on divers’ bucket lists and the vista from the skies is no less amazing, the iconic bird’s eye view with the countless hues of blue are a sight never to be forgotten as guests who have enjoyed parasailing at Constance Halaveli Maldives will confirm. The seemingly endless, crystal clear lagoons are a dream for watersports enthusiats and divers alike.

Two new dive centre openings last year, Helengeli and Sangeli – both in North Male Atoll, and another this year, Fasmendhoo in Raa Atoll, show that TGI Maldives has the winning recipe for anyone who loves the ocean and wants to experience all it has to offer during their Maldives holiday.
