Ikoga Thila

Experience level: easy diving, good for check dive and beginners

Fauna: a school of banner fish and fusiliers, jacks and tunas, turtles, groupers, octopus, blue-stripe-snapper, ghost pipefish, nudibranches

Particular features: interesting coral blocks in about 15 – 20 m with many cleaning stations

During north-east monsoon: as this is a round thila, it doesn’t matter in which direction you start your dive; from the starting point, if you dive slowly, you can surround the thila in one hour; at some parts there are small overhangs; on the west side there is a sandy slope with coral blocks, where you find many cleaning stations; the upper part has nice corals and many anemones

During south-west monsoon: just as north-east monsoon season
